Are there old prescription medications sitting in your cabinet? Get rid of them the safe way! Saturday, Sept. 29 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. You can drop your medications at the Public Safety Building from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., no questions asked. Everything we collect is incinerated, keeping it from entering the water supply or ending up in the hands of a curious child or teenager. Can't make it on Sept. 29? We have permanent drop boxes at the Public Safety Building and Evidence Building where you can leave your prescriptions anytime.
