Today Posts- message from the 28th Bomb Wing- To the Parents of Rushmore Heights and Prairie View children, hoping for a school bus resolution (this does NOT include children in the School Age Program at the Youth Center): I realize school is officially now less than 1 week away and yet we still do not have even a solid offer from a bus company. Many irons are in the fire, and I expect to hear something within the next day or two. Know tha t whatever offer is made, it will not be close to the price we heard at the Town Hall - expect it to be at least double per child, per month. You should absolutely have your "no bus plan" ready to execute for the first day of school. I certainly do, and in fact rode the route with a friend yesterday just to try it out. We will update you as soon as we hear anything more. Many of you will receive an email today from Rushmore Bus Service - the email address born from our recent Town Hall meeting.
