Big/Brother/Sister Program

Dear Friend of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills, As we prepare for the 2012-2013 school season fast approaching, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills would like to say thank you for your past support for this organization. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills thrives through the support of our friends in the area that Big Brothers Big Sisters continues to grow and flourish. We are excited for the school year to begin and to commence our “Big” and “Little” matches for our School Mentoring Program. As you reflect on your making a difference with your “Little” we hope that you will continue to provide support and make more positive and lasting impressions for a “Little.” Big Brothers Big Sisters would like to have you continue to make a difference in a child’s life and are in need of volunteers for “Littles” in our schools. If you can donate one hour a week to your “Little” with mentoring at the school, would you consider opening your heart to provide an equally rewarding gift to a waiting child? We continue to move forward in recruiting new volunteers to be matched with the children awaiting a Big Brother or Big Sister in our program. We are seeking volunteers who will meet with the children one hour each week in the school. This agency’s goal is that someday there will be no children waiting for that special “match” and contribute to a very special child’s life in providing a caring friend.
