About the Job
Physician Assitant certified Nurse Practitioner Full-time. This position provides overall assistance in patient management of inpatient care under the supervision of Lead Hospitalist. Responsibilities include: "Perform pre-operative history and physical examination on patients who are scheduled for a variety of surgical procedures "Provide medical clearance prior to surgery on patients "Daily patient rounds to monitor patient care "Determining course of treatment for patients "Ordering, performing and interpreting tests "Assist in the planning and implementation of discharging patients. Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of South Dakota required. Prior Pre-operative or inpatient experience desired. Registered Nurse Sign On Bonus Post Operative Surgical Floor Overnight stay area for post surgical patients Full-time. 12-hour night shifts. 1-2 years acute care experience required. Telemetry experience and ACLS certification preferred. Certified Nurse Assistant Post Operative Surgical Floor Overnight stay area for post surgical patients Full-time, day shifts with rotating weekends. Experience preferred. SD State Board of Nursing certification required. Claims Processing Assistant Part-time. Responsible for timely claim processing and filing. Insurance claim editing, charge entry.
