Description: Closes 10/19/2012. Requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field with 2-5 years’ experience. Computer fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows and Lotus Notes. The ability to read, analyzes, and interprets common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. The ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. The ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. The person in this key role will provide accounting support, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting. The Accounting Position will perform various activities, including but not limited to: Routine processing of revenues (receipts) and accounts payable. Keep the CEO advised of current cash flow and account balances. Prepares reports for financial and regulatory accounting purposes. Complete month end reports for Board. Serves as a liaison to Finance Committee. Assists in preparing the budget. Issues cash receipts to individuals. Abide by all policies and procedure and processes account receivables and payables according to official Standard of Accounting and guidelines.
